I am hoping that my raw and unfiltered emotions—and a lack of proper drafting—will not muddy the emotion I want to get across. I will confess, I was not in the best shape in these past few days. It would be an understatement to say that I have not been in a good shape for a decade and a half. However, I digress. This ‘monologue’ has not been written to cry out for help (as I have grown tired of writing such cumbersome journals) but instead to reflect on a film that I have recently witnessed.

My Co-worker

Today, I saw my co-worker sitting in front of Lawson’s. In retrospect, I don’t think it would have mattered much.

To My New Home

I am writing this on my phone. Despite my lack of certainty, it is time for me to go. I have decided (not without a pinch of doubt) to live somewhere closer to my work. I have grown to like my job a bit more than I did since my last entry about it, but the fatigue that it brings every day has not diminished. I am hoping that dramatically reducing my travel time to and from work will allow me to chip away at least some of the fatigue; I must play the long game, after all.
